PlayStation VR official launch date announced
E3 2016: And there should be 50 VR games all ready to play too by raed thabet
The $399 price for PS VR was revealed in March and now, finally we know when it's actually releasing.
Announced during the Sony E3 2016 press conference, the PlayStation headset is set to launch 13 October this year.
There will be 50 VR titles ready to play - ranging from simple experiences to first-person-shooters to horror games that will make you jump out of your seat.
Oculus Rift and HTC Vive have a head start on PS VR, but it's still a heavy contender considering the affordable cost paired with the fact that many people already own a PS4 to run the headset.
The 5o games promised also sounds pretty appealing since half of Vive's games are relatively short or feel unfinished and Rift's selection is somewhat slim - though the collection boasts more full length titles than Vive.
If PlayStation can deliver somewhat polished games, and provide the experience everyone's hoping for, then consoles may just be the best way to dive into VR.
